Dr. James Winget, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. James is a native of Flemington, NJ. He grew up a competitive wrestler moving on to the Division I wrestling program at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Over 15 years of repetitive injury during his wrestling career caused multiple disc herniations in his neck. Fortunately, he was referred to a chiropractor for help. He began getting adjusted regularly and thanks to chiropractic, his disc herniations were resolved.
His improved health through chiropractic adjustments inspired him to become a chiropractor himself. Dr. Winget completed his graduate studies at Life University in Marietta, GA. He moved to Raleigh and has been serving the people of Wake County since 1995.
Dr. Winget’s mission is to ensure that everyone in this community understands the simple principle – that your body is designed to heal itself. When stresses in our lives cause a shift in the spinal column, this can block nerve flow from your nerves to all cells in your body. Over time this can lead to sickness and disease.
He has cared for thousands of people of all ages in the triangle area and would look forward to taking care of you!
Dr. Winget has advanced studies in human wellness, nutrition, chiropractic neurology and spinal decompression. He has trained extensively with some of the most respected experts to bring the latest knowledge of human wellness back to the community. Over the past 15 years he has been pioneering the way for corrective care in the state of North Carolina. In 2004, Dr. Winget received the Mertz award of excellence for patient care.
In his spare time he enjoys golf and time with his family. He is an active member of Celebration Family Church.
The Doctors are members of the International Chiropractic Association, the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association and the North Carolina Chiropractic Association
