“I first came to Raleigh Specific due to debilitating migraines. They started in the mid 90’s after my daughters were born, but I never knew exactly what was causing them. They were at their worst in 2011- I felt like my head was in a vice being tightened. 2021 was beginning to feel like a repeat of that year. In the 90’s, my OBGYN said that I could take 4 Motrin every 6 hours and was allowed up to 24 a day if they were off label; however, even Motrin wasn’t working. My neurologist had prescribed me a medication so strong, I found it difficult to get up in the mornings and eventually had to take myself off of them.
